Beechwood Knoll Officers

Scott Smith,

President

My association with Beechwood Knoll School begins with my three children; Courtney, 5th Grade, Robert 4th Grade and Rachel 1st Grade. I am proud of my longtime affiliation with the Beechwood Knoll PTO; I began serving on the executive board in 2000. Since then I have served the board in the following positions; recording secretary, Vice President and now President. I also Co-Chair the Fall Festival with my wife Renee and I look forward to a fun filled year supporting our school community.

Robin Franceschini,

Vice President

I am involved with the P.T.O. for two reasons...one, my daughter is entering the First Grade and I am also the Physical Education teacher at the Beechwood Knoll Elementary School.  This year will be my 12th year at this school and 15th year in the city of Quincy.  I think I will be a good asset because I have great and new ideas that can make a difference in the activities that the P.T.O. leads.

Cheriann O'Connor,

Secretary

Raised and educated in the Quincy Public School system.  Wife to Michael, also raised and educated in Quincy and mother to son Riley (age 5) and daughter Madison (age 2 1/2).  I also work part-time at Skadden, Arps in Boston.  I decided to be on the Board of the Beechwood Knoll School PTO so that I could play an active roll in the education of my children.  I believe in the quality and professionalism of the Quincy Public School system, and I want to do my part as a parent to help ensure the system maintains that quality.  Beechwood Knoll is a great school in a terrific neighborhood and I'm proud to be part of both.

Theresa McMahon,

Publicity Director

My son Bryan, a fourth grader, has just started his third year at Beechwood Knoll, and he loves his school.   I also have a daughter who is in the ninth grade. I started working at Beechwood Knoll in 2005 as a substitute lunch matron, it became full time position in 2006 and again this year, 2007. I also volunteer in the Docent Arts Program where I get to spend time showing and discussing with the students different artwork. The Beechwood Knoll students are wonderful.   When this PTO position became available, I thought, “Another opportunity to get involved in this great school and be able to help all the BKS students.” I am looking forward to this exciting opportunity.
